New Directions for Commerce & Culture

Dear Friends,

Those of you who have accompanied the work here in Concord over the last 36 years have most likely heard mention that a central focus of that work has been what we have refer to as “applied American Studies.” That is: How do we apply the ideals and principles of the past to our every day problemschallengesopportunities— particularly in the area of business, our economy, the “nuts and bolts” of life? How, that is, do we translate Transcendentalism, the Spirit of Concord, into a language for our modern time? The following offers a glimpse of the ripening fruit of that very striving toward the creation of new directions for both commerce and culture.

A Warm Welcome to Join the Circle of Associates.
